Meet the Designer

Georgia native, Noel Corbin, began her studies in costume design at the age of 14 in community theater. Having found her gift for bringing stories to life through textiles at a young age, she took college course work at the Savannah College of Art & Design, and later obtained her undergraduate degree in Fashion Design from Georgia Southern University. Noel later continued her education at NYU, while also conducting research for the Black Fashion Collection of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture, and Weeksville Heritage Center, broadening her knowledge in fashion & costume history. In 2017, she completed her graduate degree in Costume Studies at NYU and relocated to Los Angeles to continue her work in costume design. Noel has over 15 years of professional design experience with companies such as, Nicole Miller, Code Black Entertainment, JuVee Productions, and Vogue Magazine. She specializes in period costume, horror, and comedy. You can see some of her work on “Stepford Sidechix” (YouTube), “Overrun” 2021 feature film,  and custom headdresses on “Little Mermaid Live.”
